Sunday's best .... Peeling paint

Although I have some work ahead of me.......
I realized upclose.....

it's still kind of pretty....

even as it sits to be repainted....

    I have an old rocker like that, only it's green. Love the weathered textures you've captured before you start your project.

    Old rockers are wonderful. We've got a green one on our front porch that is so nice just to sit down and relax in. Good luck with your project. It'll be well worth it.

    It does look pretty up close, I love old chairs like this one. I would be tempted to smooth out the rough spots and leave it as is. But then I know it will be beautiful when repainted.

    I love peeling old paint and I love painting. Is that a rocking chair, it's so pretty, I'd love to have a rocking chair in fact I've been hinting about how much I'd loev one for years but no luck so far.
