I love these brownies & this pan!

Every Christmas I get some kind of “as seen on TV” product either from my FIL or my Grandpa. Sometimes the product actually works…other times it more just fun to give it a try :) This year I got the PERFECT BROWNIE PAN. Have you seen this?  It comes in 3 pieces ......
Here it is after I baked up the cake brownies.
It’s supposed to make a pan full of individual brownies. Not to mention they are supposed to also just “pop” out of the pan too. Well…..THEY DO! I was shocked! I have heard that if you use it with a box mix brownies it doesn’t work well. So I just had to share my homemade cake brownie recipe & show you how it well it worked.
This recipe is great even if you don’t have this pan. I made this recipe a few times from the my Better Homes and Garden cook book. We all loved them : )

You’ll need :
1 ¼ cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
1 cup milk
Grease pan. Set aside. In a baking pan heat sugar, butter, & cocoa powder over medium heat until it melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat & add eggs & vanilla. Beat lightly until just combined. Mix in flour, baking powder & baking soda then add to the chocolate mixture while adding milk alternately. Beat after each addition. Pour in to pan. Bake @ 350 for about 20 min.s

I was amazed how these brownies just popped out! They actually turned out like 12 perfectly sliced pieces of cake. I was impressed :) This “as seen on tv” really worked. I will be using this one again & again!
What was last years gift you ask ? A Snuggly. Wasn’t a huge hit with me. Did any one notice its just a backwards robe? :)

I've seen those snugglies, too, but always think... I don't want to be seen like that! :) Plus, I'd rather knit a pretty shawl or wrap.

But this brownie thing is amazing! Thanks for the recipe. I'm making Nancy's almond shortbread cookies as we speak, but something is amiss, and I've just posted on her blog crying for help. ;)

What I like about this brownie recipe is that I can actually BUY all the ingredients over here in Oz, which makes me feel less like an outsider (pity statement, I hear it!). So... this is my dessert for next week! Hmmm, maybe I'll find one of them pans over at the thrift store. :D

I'm laughing because starting around November, we start speculating about which infomercial goodie certain relatives are going to give me. It's always me for some reason. Maybe because there are a lot of kitchen / cooking items and an occasional craft item. It's good to hear from a real peson that this brownie pan works because it's one of the few I've actually considered. And your brownie recipe...YUM!

These look delish! I always go for the corner edges because I like the crisp finish. This looks like it would help with that a bit!

What a fantastic pan, I'd never seen one like that. I have to see if I can find one here.

Those brownies look absolutely delicious, I'm printing out the recipe to go on my recipe folder, I need to make something for the Easter Fair at the school next week and I think this is it :-)

They look so yummy!
Too bad I don't eat anything with sugar or flour, or I would try your recipe. I am on a constant quest for the perfect low carb brownie or chocolate cake!
I have never seen a cake tin like that over here, but it looks very clever!

If I see that pan on clearance somewhere, I will now be tempted to pick it up. Looks like it works great!

I'll def. be trying your recipe. Anything chocolate is a win/win. :)

They look like little loves of brownie "bread" - so cute.

And you are right - the snuggly is a backwards robe, but who are they kidding your arms would have to reach to the floor to be long enough. I could never get comfortable in mine.

I made a dog bed out of it. :)
